If the Member is responsible for their services, decisions and their account and you are available to extend the visit then you are encouraged to do so and meet the additional service needs of the Member.
If the Member has an Authorised Representative making decisions on their behalf then you should check with the authorised representative before extending the visit otherwise there may be no budget or authority to do this.
If you are unsure please check with the Care Manager.
After the completion of the visit check out via the App or inform the Care Manager of the extended times so the schedule is accurate and correct invoicing and payment can be made
