Invoices and Statements explained

Updated this week

❓ What is the difference between an invoice summary and a statement?

📄 Invoice summary

  • Sent by email only every week

  • Show detailed services delivered within a week.

  • Include care management and service activity itemisation, commencing from membership onboarding

📑 Statements

  • Sent monthly

  • Can be delivered by post or email

  • Provide a summary view, including:

    • Unspent funds

    • Remaining budget

    • Contributions

    • Overall funding position

You can view in the app your invoice summaries and statements under 'invoices and statements"

❓ What is an invoice summary?

Under Support at Home, an invoice summary is not a bill you need to pay.

It’s simply a weekly summary of the services you’ve received, shown for your information and transparency.

The invoice summary brings together:

  • Services provided by your Helpers

  • Services provided by Associated Providers

  • Any care management support that occurred during the week

Think of it as a weekly activity snapshot, not a payment request.

For Private or NDIS clients, weekly invoices may require payment.
If this applies to you, it will be clearly stated.

❓Why do I receive an invoice summary each week?

Under the Support at Home program, providers are required to:

  • Record services once they are delivered

  • Create invoices to claim government funding

  • Show Members what services have been recorded on their behalf

The invoice summary allows you to view what has been invoiced to the government for services already delivered.

❓ Why do I receive invoice summaries by email even if I get statements by post?

Invoices are always sent by email.

  • Invoice summaries are system-generated

  • You can manage invoice notifications in the app settings

  • If you need help, email us at [email protected]

💡 Statements will still be sent by post if that’s your preference.

In simple terms

  • An invoice summary is not a bill but a snapshot of services.

  • It shows services delivered in the past week

  • It helps meet government transparency requirements

  • Care management appears because it is a recorded service

  • Your monthly statement shows the full financial picture of your Support at Home funding.
