The Five Good Friends app is essential to use when you visit your Members, so it's important to have your device - generally your phone - with you at all times and ready to go.

As a Helper, it is essential that you check in and out for each visit to ensure we provide visibility into the home, are able to correctly invoice the Member and make the payment to you on their behalf.

Member's families gain peace of mind from seeing that you have checked in to a visit when it's due to happen. And if a visit doesn't seem to be progressing as expected it alerts us to an issue nice and early.

To achieve this, it is important that you always have your phone with you, with sufficient charge, in good working order and with enough credit and data to allow you to check in and out, check for updates on your Member, or to send messages if required.

This is your responsibility.

If there is no reception during the visit then please check in and out as soon as you are able.

Given the private and sensitive nature of the information contained in the app and text messages you may have, it is mandatory that you ensure your phone is passcode protected at all times.
