In the event of an emergency your first priority is always your own safety.  If there is no risk to your safety act to ensure the safety of others.  If there is a risk to your safety do not proceed and seek urgent assistance.

Immediately contact emergency services on 000 and follow their instructions.
Stay with the person and if trained to do so administer first aid.

Once the immediate threat to a persons safety has been resolved and emergency personnel have arrived contact the next of kin and the Community Manager or Five Good Friends on 1300 787 581.

Provide accurate information to officers and fully cooperate with emergency services.
If appropriate offer to stay with the person until a family member can be there which may include traveling to a hospital.
